libiptables-parse-perl software package provides Perl extension for parsing iptables firewall rulesets, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libiptables-parse-perl
libiptables-parse-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libiptables-parse-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libiptables-parse-perl *
You will get with libiptables-parse-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
